PREVENT HATE is Seeking Former Child Soldiers

PREVENT HATE is looking for former child soldiers in the greater Los Angeles area to become members of our exclusive speakers bureau.

PREVENT HATE brings survivors of genocide and former child soldiers to Los Angeles area schools with students at risk for gangs and intergroup conflict to share stories about overcoming violence and prejudice. The purpose of this program is to provide youth with inspirational role models who have survived the worst types of adversity and, rather than succumb to a violent environment, have chosen to reject hate and dedicate themselves to make a positive contribution to society after all they have been through. If survivors of genocide and former child soldiers can do it, so can many of our inner city youth.
If you know of any former child soldiers in the greater Los Angeles area who would like to become members of our speakers bureau please have them contact us at communications@preventhate.org. After all, we are all in this world together and PREVENT HATE is doing its share to make it a better one for all of us.
